HOLY CRAP MY TEAM IS FLAMING HOT GARBAGE. Seriously, I think my linemen are an average rating of 67. I am so tempted to request an independent schedule full of Idaho and FCS Southeast.

    RTA.

RTA. Looks like I've got some question marks on both sides of the ball, but it always looks worse before training results. I've got some recruiting to do, though.

OL is what I struggle with the most, recruiting wise. Which is why I said "damn skill positions" and had a ton on my board this year.

Yea, I lost a bunch on the o-line too. At one guard spot, I think I have all freshmen rated around 65. In the other guard spot, I have two at 77. I'll be doing a bunch of switching there.

Not sure how my running game is going to be this year either. Hopefully, my four-star WR excel.

At least my defense is still strong. Although I will have to recruit some this year.

    I'll advance Wednesday evening.

What does the rating range look like for a 5 start recruit? All over the map based on position?

I think I have three starters rated over 80, though that'll change with the training results. Even then, almost certainly nobody over 90 and maybe only a couple over 85, with inexperience on both lines and MLB, which is kinda awful when you run a 3-4.

Rating range can vary based on a couple factors - gem, bust and JUCO. Some 5* will get into the 80s, but recruits in the 80s are rare. 5* average rating might be 75. A 5* who's a bust might be a 71ish. JUCOs have higher ratings than their brethren at their star level, since they have more experience (2*s are usually in the low 60s but a JUCO 2* might have a 70 rating).

O line is tough, probably the toughest. The guy I gave up on to get the 98 speed guy was a 77 OVR 4 star guard ...

Kickers and punters have ratings way higher than their position player counterparts. I've had 3*s in the 80s and I think I recruited a 5* in the low 90s in an offline dynasty.

And to further your point on linemen: I'd venture to say that 90 percent of the ESPN 150 every season are QB, HB, WR, CB or ATH. I've seen seasons with no 5*s in T or G or C. Not sure what the issue is, but since this was the end of the line for the series, we'll never see it fixed.

Y'all are more dedicated to this thing than those of us in the PS3 league ... That sucker hasn't been touched in weeks.

I tend to go heavy with OL in some recruiting classes. Looked over my team last night and I'm young at both guard spots and one tackle spot, which is going to help in the future. I also don't offer a scholarship to any lineman less than 6'2, 290.
