You were definitely the better of us today, but my short-yardage defense kept me in way longer than I had any right to expect.

I was up 17-14 late, he scored on 3rd and goal with 35 seconds left to go up 21-17, then my O-line spit the bit and he sacked me twice, the second resulting in a safety that ended the game with 10 seconds left. I think in the real world you can try to onsides a free kick after a safety, but I wasn't seeing that option, so I tried to squib it, but he fell on it and that was that.

Better game than I expected it would be.

Yeah, I was nervous when I didn't see "onside recovery" as an option for me. Was worried you had an onside kick and I couldn't do anything about it.

 

You can't do an onsides there. And this should squash any talk of you quitting the league, or not being good, or whatever, Meat. I was a play away from having essentially an identical result against Ohio last season.

 

Yep. He played the best D of anyone I've played so far. He was really giving me issues.

 

In fairness, the cpu was playing the best defense. I just switched to a lineman and tried not to screw up too badly

 

I think we had a very close game a couple seasons ago. I think that was the same year I played Meat, who also played some pretty good defense against me.
