That's awesome, Bubbler. However, it would seem you do have time for online gaming :).

Played it over the course of a month or so. Game here and there between work and family stuff.

Is it possible to not get a single recruit in a season? I mean, I'm a top 25 program with a devoted and surprisingly patient fanbase. This is getting sad.

Will eke out a crummy 4-point win tonight.

I can't explain your recruiting woes. The team's prestige is fairly high, so that shouldn't be a problem. And you're ranked, like you said.

How many points per week do you have to deal with? Obviously at least 6000. But do you have bonus points coming from your coaching skill tree? I know I get like 6500 per week.

Oh and in other news, the PAC 12 media can go to hell. My QB throws for 280 yards and five TDs and loses player of the week honors to Arizona's QB, who had three TDs and 250 yards. His 56 rushing yards must have been the difference. ::)

How spread out are you on points? And who are you targeting at the beginning of the season?

I go after the highest-ranked guys who have me in their top 5 (top 7-10 if they're a 5-star or a highly-rated 4-star), then fill the rest with 3-stars who either have me as a top 1 or 2, with a few fliers on North Carolina guys and a couple of guys who don't have me on their list, but give me good grades for at least two of their three bonus categories. What ends up happening is I don't make enough headway on the guys I'm not leading on, and the guys that I am take their sweet time signing with me (or bolting for the No. 2 team).

    Come to me, my pretties!

Temple was the No. 1 quarterback in this recruiting class. That means I'll have a big choice to make next year between him and Hackenberg.

    Some big games this week.

No. 1 TCU at No. 2 Texas. No. 3 Alabama at Tennessee.

Ohio State is still kicking around at No. 4, I think.

East Carolina 28, Florida Atlantic 7. An absolutely blah game. RTA.

Yeah, I don't really bother with anyone who's not in the Top 5 or don't have me on their list, you just don't have enough points. I'd say dump those guys and focus more on your core and you will probably be better off.

And try to schedule them early for visits against rival/top 25 schools. I just make sure I try to achieve all of the goals the visiting players want to see during the game ex: 250-yard passer, 100-yard rusher etc.

I'm heading out of town until Friday with my folks and when I come back, life gets sort of busy. Will try and get my game in on Friday hopefully. Still no love in the 'others receiving votes'. I've beaten three top 15 schools, but also started out 0-2 with losses to Jake and Rumple. Soon, soon.
