At the beginning of the season, the player always has to have a green circle by their name, showing interest in me.

I may take one or two highly rated players that don't have that green circle. But, for the most part, I'm taking those that are highly interested in me AND also fill a need.

I also offer scholarships fairly early, especially on the higher-rated players that are interested in me. I'll also look to spread out my visits too. If it's a highly coveted guy, I'll put him against a rival or conference school.

Sometimes it's also good to schedule the visit closer to the end of the season. Especially if the player has other schools close to yours. You schedule him late and kind of give your school the last visit, and he'll remember you more than the others.

Blocked a field goal last night.

    Throttled Illinois.

Third consecutive game with two running backs with more than 100 yards.

So who gets to 100 first, Am or Jake?

Probably Jake. I run the ball too much.

I think I missed my shot against KSU. 100 is hard on five minute quarters. Probably would have to go for two every time to do it.

I also don't know that I have the patience for it. Eventually a blowout gets boring to me and I just want the game to end.

Just FYI, I'm going to be out of town Sunday-Thursday. If we advance before Sunday I'll be able to play, otherwise, I'll get my game in Thursday night.

    Cool.
Hank, any chance we might advance before Sunday? No worries if we can't. Just want to be as little a holdup for the group as possible.

(PS, if anyone has eating suggestions in Syracuse, besides Dino BBQ, I'm all ears :) )

Not sure who's all left to play. If it's just me and Mad, then yes, I should be able to advance Saturday.

I still have to play. Got home late last night and I'm working probably 12-14 hours today. Hopefully have it in by 10 MST. If not, you can just sim it.
