You jest, but here's how the games went down:

    Game 1
    • I drive, get stopped on fourth and short inside mad's 40
    • mad slices through my defense like a machete through a stick of melting butter, scores easily. tenn 7-0 ecu
    • I drive, do a little better, then the game freezes
    Game 2
    • I drive, get picked off at midfield
    • mad slices through my defense like a burning machete through a bowl of almost completely melted butter, scores easily. tenn 7-0 ecu
    • lag gets so bad that I can't control my kickoff returner, struggle to get anything going, then we throw up our hands, attempt to autopilot for each other, then agree to rematch tonight
The leading indicators were not promising for a competitive game. Maybe third time's the charm? Or he slices through my defense like a nuclear-powered flaming machete through a mist of evaporated butter and it gets out of hand in a hurry.

    FWIW,
If the NC game lagged out about the time yours did, it would have been:
    * Jake marches down and scores on four plays.
    * I have a drive that I'm advancing through only piss and vinegar that boggs down in his territory and results in a pick.
*Game laggs with me down 7-0 and Jake having the ball.

Hank, if we play tonight it would be MUCH later. Wednesday looks to be the day then.

Who did Jojo play as? I vaguely remember that name, but that's about it. You would have been Illinois, right?

No, Illinois was '09. That one I didn't lose in. I lost once, if not twice, in the '10 dynasty and I lost as Baylor to Jojo's Purdue team in the last game of '11.

What time Wednesday is good for you?

Again, early evening (10 p.m. at the latest) is best for me.

Told you that you were better off playing the autopilot

Good game. Well, on your end.

See, this was what I was afraid of with those two aborted games. With the exception of the first drive, my defense was absolutely impotent against him. I let the CPU do the heavy work because when I controlled someone, he was way off the play and did more harm than good. With the exception of two long passes where my wideout got behind the secondary, my offense was completely impotent. Three, four turnovers for me, none for him. He outran me, outpassed me, out defended me, out special teamsed me and outcoached me. Other than that, a competitive game.

Sorry I couldn't actually gin up a fight, man.

    Good game, Meat.
I couldn't stop Smyre for the life of me. Those turnovers early hurt you, if not for those I think the game would have been different. Got lucky with those breaks.

Sorry for the short box score, I'll add the rest. Gotta run some errands.

Time of possession was key I think. 15 some minutes for me. That was something I've been trying to work on all season instead of just slinging it around the field, three and outs etc. To have a balanced running attack to go with my passing.
