Not a chance. After that first drive, my defense consistently bent on first and second down, then broke on third down. Even if I managed to avoid turnovers, I was not moving the ball consistently. And even if I scored every drive, it wasn't going to be enough because there was no way I was stopping you.

Seriously, people, this EASILY could have been a 49-0, 56-0 kind of game. The first quarter was deceptively close, then the rest of the game was somewhat less deceptively close. Total shitkicking, and well deserved because he was far better than me. Far better. He'll be a force in the national title race next season.

Hank, let's aim for 7:30 pm CST if possible tonight.

Sorry about last night. 8:30 was fine, but then I started doing some things around the house and completely forgot about it until a hour or two after.

Tonight will also work. Same time? (8:30 Eastern, 7:30 Central). I can also be more flexible on the times.

Schedule changed for tomorrow, so I don't have to be up as early, so I could possibly start a little later, if needed.

Let's push it back 15-30 minutes. I need to eat dinner.

Sounds good. I was just coming on here to say I might be late, since I had to download an Xbox Live update.

And your Rose Bowl champion: Penn State

Penn State 34, Washington State 21

Too many turnovers (three) for me, especially a fumble that took away a chance to tie late in the first half.

Another good game between myself and Hank in the Rose Bowl. If I'm not mistaken, that would be the fourth time we met up in Pasdena. I'm up 3-1 in the all-time series, as far as I can recall.

Turnovers hurt him and helped me. Everybody who picked him off or forced that fumble will be graduating, so that's a tough loss with that awareness.

Thought I was going to throw my controller through my TV when Hank scored with no time left in the first half. Not sure how his wide receiver got so open, but he did and capitalized on it.

Pleased with my two running backs with more than 100 yards. Tucker dominated the red zone with five touchdowns, but Lynch did most of my heavy lifting.

Hank, if you could wait on advancing in case we want to switch teams and all.

Regarding that end of half play. I don't know that he was too open. Your CB was there and the safety was over to help. The second I threw it and saw the safety coming over, I thought, Oh shit. But somehow, my WR came down with it. He is a senior, so that may have helped.

    Anyway, advancing now.
