Wondered what happened down the stretch. I won't complain.

I thought I blew it when I ran out of bounds on that huge kickoff return. Looked back at the replay and you had a few guys ready to tackle me. If I went one more second, maybe I could have had a shorter field goal, but I doubt it. Clock probably would have run out.

As soon as I saw you wanted to kick the field goal in overtime, I told myself I would go for the two-point conversion.

Wow, sounds like a crazy game between Am and Rumple. If there's one thing I learned while playing this game online, allow just a fuzz more time due to lag, connection issues because it seems to happen to me. But, doesn't sound like that was an issue. Damn.

 

Probably too late. Like 1 a.m. late. We could go Thursday or Friday, since I'm off those days (Friday may be better).

On another note, I may be leaving the league (no, not a ragequit because I suck deal). My Xbox Live renewal comes up this month, and I'm not sure I want to spend 50 bucks for another year when all I do is use it to play you guys, which I've only done around 10 times since I went Gold. I haven't even gone into GTA Online, so maybe that would be an enticement, but for the past six months all I've played is NCAA and Peggle 2, and I've done about all I can do with the latter. I'll probably break down and get another year even so, but fair warning in case I can't convince myself to go on.

 

Yeah, I may not make it to 1. Thursday or Friday will work for me too.

And do a Kickstarter for the your Live subscription. I'll pony up some cash for you.

 

I dunno, I think Potato Salad Guy has sucked up all the available funding for frivolous projects for the time being.

 

You can also look for discounts. Look on amazon, new egg, etc.

Sometimes you can get as low as $30-40 for 12 months. Especially if you order a paper card instead of the instant online code.

 

I think I got one last year in the 40 range, but thus far I haven't had much luck with any big discounts like that. I believe my Gold status expires in two weeks, so I'd have to hustle to get a paper card, presuming I find one.

I'll probably buy another year no matter what, but I need to get more out of it than just our league (which is a lot! just it'd be nice to do more than I do)

 

I might have put myself back in the title hunt with that win over Am, because I am sure my S.O.S. is going to play well in the eyes of voters. Now I just need Mad to lose.
