Sorry to interrupt, but do you guys take new players? The college football franchise is my favorite and I just upgraded from Playstation to XBox....

    Sure do.

We just started our fourth season (or maybe it's the fifth). Anyway, the limit for team rating is about 87-88. Obviously, you can choose lower than that.

We try to advance about once per week, sometimes more, sometimes less. The early season weeks tend to go a little slower due to having user games.

Since we pretty much just started the season, you probably wouldn't be that far behind us in recruiting and such. I think it's week 2 or 3.

Or you can wait for our next offseason, but that's probably a month or so away, at least.

Just pick a team, post (or message me) your Xbox Live name and you'll be ready to go.

Oh and congrats on the upgrade.

I get what you're saying about not getting a lot of use out of it. I really don't do much more than you. Online, I play in this league and I'll play my brother in a few games, but that's about it.

I tend to play a lot of one-player or "offline" games, like an offline NCAA dynasty. Lately, even that, I haven't been doing much.

Fifth season. The only thing I would say about beanpole joining now (Welcome, beanpole!) is that he shouldn't be able to join an undefeated team with no user games on the schedule and have a cake run to a potential national title game.

Unless he picks a Sun Belt, MAC, Mountain West or indie team, he'll have to play a user in a conference game at least. I think the rest of the conferences are accounted for

Awesome, thanks. I'll see what''s available (and what you guys have) after I pick up the game this weekend. No idea who I'll take, but I'm an east coast guy, so it will likely be Big East, ACC or C-USA.

Teams taken are: Washington State, TCU, Maryland, Tennessee, Ohio (which was moved to American Conference), East Carolina and Penn State.

Jake raises a good point. But, like Meat said, we have a user in all of the major conferences and we haven't really started conference play yet (well, except for the Pac 12), so the odds are pretty good he'd have a user conference game.

And if he were to pick a non-major conference, it isn't very likely that they would get to highly ranked.

We can always adjust when he picks a team too.

My guess, before seeing the teams or the ratings, is that I'd take either Marshall or Rutgers. But I have no idea if either of those are undefeated or would have an unfair advantage schedule-wise this year.

Those would likely be ok. You should have at least one user game (probably against East Carolina or Ohio).

Or he could play me & give himself an easy W. :p

    Ha!
But the only way he would be able to play you was if he picked an ACC team. I can't change schedules this year.

Storm, I should have put you on my schedule this year. You could have taken my team. My RBs are really the only ones who have played somewhat decent.

Like I said before, there's absolutely no reason I should have been ranked No. 2 to begin the season. I would have been lucky to be Top 25.

I believe Jake and I play next and it will surely be a tough one. Win or lose, I think I'll stay in the top 10 and eventually creep back up with only SEC games left. *knock on wood*
