Ungodly is the $9.3M paycheck Saban receives.

I imagine this will be a big headache to coaches, who will claim they have no problem staying focused while making north of seven-figures a year - dealing with undergrads making more than some of the assistants. I do think it will be a distraction for some players though, trying to sift offers between practices, team meetings and - oh, yeah, classes. More than a few baby mamas are also finally going to get their needed child support as well.

NIL reporting will be a sweet little cottage industry.

Never in my entire life have i read so much concern trolling about young people earning a living as I have on this thread.
Only thing missing is concern over whether every athlete is being properly 1099'd.

I really don't care - players can do what they want. Colleges have literally been getting a free-ride for decades - but I do think it would be a hell of a lot easier for all involved if the schools just cut athletes a check. Where there is cash, lawyers (and others) are sure to follow. Now instead of schools exploiting athletes, it will be Big Bob's Used Cars out on Hwy 93, who will say X athlete can't sign that big endorsement deal with Ford trucks because they still have his exclusive rights when it comes to cars.

The latter is an excellent point. No more waiting until the guy signs his contract. How much of that NIL change will be left after 2-3 homegirls get done dividing it up.

And bringing the “just wait for the baby mamas” shit along with it.
