NCAA finally waves white flag on NIL

    I don’t mind the idea of transfers waiting a year, but it should have no effect on their eligibility. Division II lets kids use however many years it takes to get four years of competition in and the world keeps spinning.

    I really wish this would happen. But they’re all afraid of unilateral disarmament. They’d have to collude and keep secrets in order to bring about change.

    I fear this will not end well, just like when the CIF threw in the towel on transfers. And then we lose the essence of high school sports.

    We didn’t lose that when school districts started building multi-million dollar stadiums and indoor practice facilities while teachers do Amazon Wish Lists and GoFundMes to get classroom materials?
