Bigpern, the only salve is that your team puts in the worst shooting percentage in finals history -- and only lost by 12. Butler got the game it wanted, but it couldn't hit shots.

Nantz to Calhoun: "At 68, you're the oldest coach to win a national championship. That's just incredible."

Did I miss something? Did Calhoun check himself in and play a few minutes tonight? My point being 68yo ain't that damned old for a coach. Nothing "incredible" about it.

How many shining moments can there possibly be in this game?

Don't worry ... I don't have ESPN and barely listen to sports talk radio (and the guys here in Indianapolis LOVE this Butler team). Can't stand the idiocy and myopia.

I liked how One Shining Moment included all of Butler's made baskets from tonight.

I have this image in my head of UConn's women's team gathering to head to the pep rally, and Geno Auriemma walking into the room, closing the door and going all Cobra Kai on them.
"No! Pep rallies are for winners!"
He does bear a striking resemblance to John Creese.
