Hard to believe that Michigan State was considered a contender at one point.

 

They've shit the bed virtually every day since fall practice. One of the most disgraceful collapses of the new millennium. Yet the broadcasting crew continues the endless power-fellatio of Izzo.

 

Somebody clearly has coached up Verne on his geography since his last BYU broadcast. He didn't say "Glen" Falls, and he didn't refer to it as a pretty town in the south part of Lake George. The huge, old paper mill in Glens Falls begs to differ with the "pretty" tag. Lake George would like a word, too.

 

"Gosh darn it! Gee-willikers!" is what I think that kid said when the ref T'ed him up.

 

After a hell of a fun start, the night sessions have been a snoozefest.

 

Had to figure the law of averages would come back with a vengeance.

 

Michigan State is trying to make this interesting -- 8-point game with 3:27 left.

 

Nothing like picking the wrong No. 6 seed from the Big East to gag.
