Totally gutless performance by Tennessee today. They just flat-out quit on Pearl.

Villanova about to be saved by the officials.
    Or not.

That game was a microcosm of Villanova's season. Good for much of the season. Shitting the bed at the end.

He shouldn't add "folks" at the end.

Not calling a charge there gave them a chance.

BTW, sitting on your butt with one timeout left, someone on Mason has to know to call it.

The coaches should have called it. As I discovered recently, the refs who should be looking in that direction don't always do it.

I know this year is the new everyone starts staggered, but are they only having one session today in Cleveland? Mason-Nova was like 2:15, OSU-UTSA is at 5, Xavier-Marquette scheduled for 7:30 and then Indiana St.-'Cuse around 10.

How do they intend to clear that building out and get the new group in? Sounds like clusterfuck to me.

They'll probably delay the second set of games another 30-60 minutes. Not such a big deal tonight, since it's Friday and not a work night.

Besides, Ohio State-UT San Antonio probably will be a huge blowout and therefore not dragged out by fouls and timeouts at the end. So say that game starts at 5; it will be over by 7. Start the next set of games around 8:15.

As we say around here: Wildcats trying to Coug it.
