Yes. I guess I should have made more of a point to slam the 5-seed process. Someone has to be in that slot, though.

Here's the problem with that Big East thought though -- two of the four teams to lose tied for third in the conference standings. Two of the last four in 11th and 9th place are still alive. And Louisville and St. John's can say injuries killed them. Gtown and Nova were spiraling before the tourney started

Helluva job by Georgetown. Sickening Performance.

I bought into the Wright kid returning. Wrong move.

Kenny Smith just said that based on the way he's playing today, Brandon Knight's game-winning shot vs. Princeton "was not an apparition."

    Good to know, Kenny.

Calipari bitches and moans about freshman mistakes in his halftime interview. Maybe if he'd recruit a player or two that planned to be in Lexington for more than six weeks ...

That's not how Cal rolls. Never has been, even going back to his time at UMass.

Can't blame the NCAA for being tired of filling out the "(Vacated)" paperwork, and wanting to avoid such a situation entirely.

This way, he has a built-in excuse. The exploding cigar is lit when the multitudes of Kentucky faithful get old and tired waiting for the next national-championship banner.

They already have more than enough, of course.

How is it that everyone working as a PBP guy this week is better than Nantz, yet we are stuck with Nantz for the Final Four?

Was that Greg Gumbel just taunting Pitino over losing to Morehead St?
