It sucks that there's games in North Carolina every year (except for the year UNC doesn't make the tournament, go figure), but yeah, it's easy to understand the dollars and cents of it. But you don't think UK and/or Louisville fans would sell out games in Lexington, Louisville, Nashville every year? Or Kansas fans wouldn't buy a ton of tickets in KC, Wichita, Omaha.

Look at the Kentucky/Tennessee area this year: Kentucky, Tennessee, Memphis, Vanderbilt, Louisville, Morehead State... am I missing any?

Also Michigan is 6 points down playing with a 6-4 power forward. Maybe Duke needs to start recruiting NBA players to continue winning.

Aside from loving fellow Houston guy Nantz, that was outstanding.

And Michigan is making things real interesting here.

Darius Morris is as clutch as he comes in terms of leading a team but Hardaway is a pure scorer. They go well together.

Wouldn't that just suck for Jalen Rose and the Fab Five is this rag-tag collection of jump-shooting Wolverines beats a 1-seed Duke... and they couldn't?

Damn nice showing by Michigan in this tourney. Blasted UT by 30 and took Duke all the way to the game's final shot.

Hard to believe this is the same Michigan crew that was ranked dead last in the Big 10 midway through the conference season, very impressive late season surge.

I think Bilas is one of the best college basketball analysts out there, and I love his Twitter feed. But Penders makes some good points.
