Had VCU getting this far. When I filled my bracket out they were still waiting to play USC, but I picked them with the expectation they'd win that and beat Georgetown. Pretty sure I have them losing today though.

Methinks VCU is going to force a change in bracket-filling-out strategy next year. I don't know too many folks who waited til Wednesday night to do theirs.

Yep. I waited until Wednesday night to fill out my brackets. Felt one of the "play-in" teams would make a run to the Sweet 16, and I liked VCU's matchup w/ Georgetown much more than Clemson over West Virginia.

Of course, my bracket is shit everywhere else. So I have that going for me.

What pisses me off is I keep thinking this win will put VCU in the Elite Eight.

While the dicksucking appears warranted, VCU's still got a little work to do.

Looked quick to me too; Also thought he got the timeout called before the 5; Alas, it doesn't matter if you call timeout, it's when the official acknowledges it, and grant the timeout.

And just like that, VCU's got the lead back up to 19. Have at it.

Make your free throws, don't turn the ballover and make Purdue use at least 10 seconds to get a good shot off.

I had VCU/USC beating Georgetown in the first round.

I thought he was getting close when he turned to ask for it. Usually it's granted if it's close.

Jim Burr was working that game BTW.

Said this earlier but it got lost on the page flip -- according to Seth Davis a timeout cannot be granted after the count reaches four
