Duke hasn't won a title in seven seasons now, and has been slipping to this level pretty much every year since.

Your statements of how much they blow are not really news. You get that, right?

There's very little on this thread that is news.

Right. But you're really trying to look like you're some genius for declaring Duke dead, like no one else sees it.

It's more of your chest-beating over nothing.

Conference generalizations are as dumb in basketball as they are in football.

    Infer what you wish.

Please post the same thing to the others who said anything about Duke on this thread.

No, because they were talking about TODAY'S game. They were saying "Wow, Duke has no inside game" or "Duke sucks from outside."

You're the one throwing out platitudes of late '80s Big Ten basketball.

Has anyone checked on Dick Vitale to make sure he's OK? Duke gone, Clemson blows ... what's next?

And there's no doubt about the best player in the country this year - Michael Beasley. Hansbrough is a distant second.

And went to the Final Four in 90-91? And the Elite Eight in 92-93? That Indiana?

For god's sake, don't bring facts into this. Facts are the enemy of stupidity.

I hate to butt in this conversation ... but Indiana lost in the 1991 Sweet 16 to Kansas. The 1991 Final Four was Kansas, North Carolina, Duke, UNLV.

Go Kansas State! Might as well keep rooting for upsets.
