Not a fan of either team. Thought it was a foul. Maybe I need to look at it again, but I thought it was a foul.

Seen some worse calls this week though, by far. The charge on WKU vs. Drake was awful.

It's a no-call on the last shot. Minimal contact at best. Looked clean. Still wasnt as bad as the call against WKU yesterday near the end of regulation.

My issue with the officiating - at least in tonight's case - is UCLA plays a very aggressive style of defense and holds guys like hell coming off of screens and very rarely do their opponents get any benefits.

Great games today. Hell, this has been the best opening weekend I can remember in a long time. As I was on deadline I didn't really WATCH any of them but, damn... seemed like every time I looked up there were tenths of seconds on the clock and someone holding for a shot. Crazy, crazy stuff.

    Memphis, please, Zeke. :)

  4. Agreed. Today was so good it made me wish I watched more college hoops during the season.

I watched less this year than I have since elementary school when I started following it.

All of you who think it should have been a no-call, it was minimal contact, etc. are high.

Shipp grabbed the guy's left arm and pulled it away so that he lost possession of the ball while trying to shoot. It was clear as day from the replay from behind.

Pitt is officially The Most Underachieving College Basketball Team of the Decade.

I need bleeping K-State to win today.

And can we begin calling Jeff Capel the Bobby Petrino of the Hardwoods? Bounce from job to job...apparently he's headed to South Carolina. I hate when coaches let this shit get out DURING their former team's run in the tournament. I wish AD's had the balls to say, "Either commit right now, or we'll take it from here, asswipe."

Yep. Maybe A&M should of made a few baskets in the second half instead of choking away that 10-point lead.

Just the decade? They've been doing this since the days of Charles Smith and Jerome Lane.

Though really, that wasn't the team that started so strong. Mike Cook wasn't a star, but having one more decent scoring option makes a difference.
