NCAA tourney second round thread

Sure am looking forward to watching that darkhorse everyone around here keeps talking about: the Clemson Tigers.

Hard not to think Clemson's fate foreshadows that of the top seed they most resemble-Memphis.

 

Whether my Mississippi State upset prediction proves true, or I look like a moron (MORAN!), I'll be back. But I think I'll be back to remind everyone I've called this for a week.

 

picked georgetown in the final four, and i've got a baaaaaaad feeling about it. davidson pulling the big upset wouldn't surprise me.

 

Why does the NCAA do away with the early games on the weekend?
They could have four games on and then more of the games would be seen.

 

Dick Vitale was in a pissy mood last night ... but acted like Villanova beating Clemson was the smallest shocker of the first round.

Anyone else think that the upsets will cease after a wild first round? Usually, it's an upset or two in the first round, and most of the upsets happen later. I can see another upset or two today and tomorrow, but I think the tournament will calm down a bit.

I think there are still a few more in the bag. They may not be as big as the 13-4 or 12-5 upsets, but there will likely be some. Everything will probably settle down by the region final though.

 

Please let Duke smack Thuggins and West Virginia ...
