NCAA tourney second round thread

Duke looks tired, coming up short on a lot of shots.

 

WVA is having one of the great endgames of this tournament and they call a timeout ... with the TV timeout coming? The hell?

 

K's gonna have to recruit some more athletes like Henderson. Paulus and Scheyer can't lead this team to the promised land playing 30 plus minutes a game

 

My thoughts exactly. He looks like the only bona fide athlete out there. (I know Nelson is athletic but he just doesn't have anything today).

 

I hate Greg Paulus possibly more than I hated Shavlik Randolph.

And boy did I despise Shav.

 

They need a post player who can draw doubles and kick it to their many shooters.

 

easy. Just find a reincarnate of Shav Randolph, Josh McRoberts, Chris Burgess and Casey Sanders

 

A bigger point of emphasis: A real post player or two. Henderson's effectiveness is limited because most of the post defense now can be focused on stopping his drives to the basket. An inside presence will make defenders choose.

In other words, what dreUNC said ....

 

Their many shooters? You mean those guys who are working on an 0-for-16 on their last 16 3s?

 

More ACC teams in the tourney pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez! I want to pick against them.

 

Those same ones who led this team to a much better record this year than anyone expected at the beginning of the year.
