Just got to my hotel room and was watching OU losing to Texas Tech when I see:

    UL Monroe 21, Alabama 14

    scroll across the bottom. L-O-Fing-L.

Let's see how the great SEC spins this loss. Keep in mind this Alabama team took LSU down to the wire a couple of weeks ago and were within a late fumble from possibly upsetting the No. 1 Tigers.

Any SEC team losing to a UL U-Pick 'Em school is a disgrace. But somehow I'm sure it proves the SEC is by far the strongest conference in the nation.

Close enough, Baylor is like 20 minutes from Bolivian.

Think Bama will play in the Albert Means Financial Liberty Bowl in Memphis?

That would be appropriate. The Tide paid WAY too much for Saban and Means.

ULaMo lost 35-17 to Tulsa, 49-26 to Clemson, 54-14 to Texas A&M (FRAN!), 24-7 to Troy, 31-21 to North Texas, and 43-40 to MTSU.

But ... the Warhawks did beat Florida Atlantic in overtime, and they doubled-up Grambling.

Their new name is the Warhawks? If I were a hawk, I would be VERY offended!

Warhawks, War Eagles ... I'm sensing a pattern here.

Auburn beating Alabama isn't a pattern. It's a cultural shift.

There is a historical precedent for a Saban team losing to a small school...LSU got beat by UAB in his first season. Of course, Josh Booty was responsible for that loss.
