Dead-on, dooley. LSU stays No. 1 until it loses.

Maybe my caffeine just hasn't kicked in yet, but as I glanced over the last two options, my brain registered "Tommy Lasorda."

If he can coach a buffalo, surely he can coach Baylor....

My point is, it's not some gargantuan edge some SEC acolytes would have you believe.

I think Tommy Bowden would be a good hire for Baylor - I know he's said he wants to get back into coaching and while Baylor isn't a big time job, he could make it one. And as much as I dig Mike Singletary, I'm hoping he can do better. Baylor is a sinkhole.

Tommy Bowden is the current Clemson coach (though perhaps not for long.) I believe you're thinking of Terry Bowden.

Singletary wouldn't take another college job. He's a Baylor guy.

Clemson fans have been waiting nearly all decade for Tommy Bowden to get back into coaching.

My bad, when I saw the Tommy Bowden reference for Baylor, I assumed they meant Terry. Man that Clemson game was brutal.

Think this thing can't be any crazier?

    LSU loses to Arkansas.
Missouri beats Kansas and then loses the Big 12 title game to Texas after Oklahoma falls to Oklahoma State

    West Virginny falls to Conn.
Arizona State loses to USC or to Arizona.
Georgia loses at Ga. Tech or if LSU loses to Arkansas and
Kentucky beats Tennessee, Ga. beats Ga. TechLSU in the title game.
Virginia Tech loses to No. 16 Virginia or in the ACC title game.
    Oregon loses to Oregon State.
    USC loses to UCLA.
    Florida beats Florida State

Florida and Ohio State in the championship game rematch.

This season, I'd believe anything. But it's probably a stretch that 1-4 would drop as far as 10. Maybe.

How would Florida jump over Georgia in that scenario?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Georgia has to lose to Ga. Tech for that scenario to form.
