My wife and I went out for the simple reason of hoping the Big 12 would have 2, 3 and 4 in next week's BCS rankings. Won a beer out of betting on Arizona, and while I didn't want Dixon to go down, knew it was over the second he was out. No way in hell they had a backup QB that could move out of the pocket like he does.

And I commented on another thread how McFadden would win the Heisman. I stand corrected. The West-coast voters will now go w/ Tebow. Barring an injury, put another statue on the Florida mantle.

Entirely possible... it is a bye-week. Good thing they don't play. Another close loss and they could be No. 1

With all the big-time candidates either getting hurt or under-performing, isn't it time some defensive guys start being considered for the Heisman? Tebow, meanwhile, won't win because there are enough people out there that won't vote for a sophomore, just because.

Wouldn't hurt 'em to vote for a tight end. Mizzou has a couple of pretty talented ones.

They need to do something about replay in college football next year. It's getting absolutely retarded and making the games almost an hour longer. These idiot referee are leaning on it entirely too much. It seemed like one out of three plays we being reviewed at the end of that game (except the blatant face mask). "Hey, I think his knee was down...lets look. Okay, it was, but where did he knee go down? I dunno, lets look........okay, but how much time was on the clock...."

Well, Vegas must be chipper this morning.

They move the line 10 minutes before kick, get more action.....and 'Zona wins it outright.

Yeah, what'd this one take? Almost four hours? The LSU-Alabama game a couple weeks ago was 4 1/2. They desperately need a challenge system like the NFL. You stop once or twice a game on really controversial stuff and that's it.
It's funny, they tried those horrible clock rules last year to speed up the game. Now they put in a replay system that's brought it to a grinding halt.

If Darren McFadden doesn't win the Heisman this year they need to stop handing it out.

Have you seen some of the dogs that have won the Heisman recently? If they haven't stopped handing it out yet, they never will.

I think McFadden may win it by default. The field is, shall we say, less than inspiring.
