This does bring a point about paying college athletes.

Let’s say this happens in four years when they get paid. Does the school fine the receiver? Boosters demand he gets cut?

The best I saw was "Gee Whiz."

Arkansas will be missing more than a dozen players and several coaches today due to a mumps outbreak.

How can they play the game? Is it possible — I don’t know these things — that some players can spread it if they have not yet shown symptoms?

I wound up using a variant of that as a lede to top off the AP story. Wasn't quite working for my layout, though.
I ended up using "Pee gives the Bulldogs a 'W'"

Given the extra point outcome "Ole Missed" could have worked.

Fifteen years is long enough. Good for UVa.

Good thing I only bet $10. That would have been hard to explain to my wife why I lost our house on a bunch of choking dogs that go from back-to-back shutouts to not being able to stop a handicapped 8-year-old with cancer.

Tough one for ESPN and ACC HQ today. Their beloved Hokies have lost.
Hey, did you know that today was Saint Bud Foster’s final regular-season game?
And that last week was his last home game?
And that the game before that was Saint Bud Foster Day?
