    In retrospect, I was wrong.

When you're right 52 percent of the time, you're wrong 48 percent of the time.

Two irksome things with this one:
    1) I think the last time I bet on Virginia Tech was the Old Dominion debacle last year. I swore off them after that. They are banned from my picks forevermore. I don't care if they're getting 100 points against Rutgers, I'm done with them. I'll bet against them, but not on them.
    2) This was pick No. 1 of a daylong three-teamer and now it's blown to bits. So I'll probably get to spend the next eight hours watching Boise State and UCF blow out their shitty conference opponents while fuming at Bud Foster's supposed defensive brilliance.

Bronco Mendenhall outcoached Justin Fuente today, especially down the stretch. It wasn't even close. Some of Tech's playcalling was just baffling in the fourth quarter. UVa most certainly deserved to win, and a big part of that was Mendenhall's willingness to adjust on the fly. Still not sold on Fuente, especially if he doesn't jettison Cornelson.

Very excited to see Bronco Mendenhall succeeding in a big way!

Fuckboy Iowa may drop all the way to 18 if they lose this game.

Mizzou-Arkansas might set CFB back 15 years.

Excellent stuff. Illinois is down to -7.5, any idea why? That's fine by me for investment purposes but can't imagine why Northwestern would attract any money whatsoever.

Ha ha screw you Scott Frost. Two calls go against Hawkeyes in last 30 seconds but they still win and the kicker and holder give a big FU to Frost after his back-to-back timeouts didn't phase him one bit.

Iowa guy catches the ball, falls to the ground, rolls completely over with possession, then is touched down and then the ball comes out. How is that not a catch? This "complete the catch" stuff is complete bullshit. Possession when you're touched by a defender while on the ground, it's a catch, no matter what happens afterward. .

That Iowa-Nebraska officiating was next-level advocacy of the conference member that needs to win to go bowling.

The time to abolish conference officials for a national pool of referees is long overdue.

I’m not sure why on this as well. Doesn’t make sense.
