I still can't believe the officials made the PI call at the end of the Rutgers-USF game. Proved me wrong in that I was convinced the officials would do everything they could to protect the conference's possible national charmion.

 

The Texas Bowl is the best they can do on my birthday?

I think Florida's the easiest pick on the board today. Week off. Kentucky with a life-and-death overtime win last weekend.

 

I guess Bobby Petrino leaving ruined two teams: Louisville and the Falcons.

 

Arthur Blank ruined the Falcs years ago by betting on the wrong horse . . . er, dog.

 

I was OK with that call. He did push off. It wasn't blatant, but he broke the rule. And he really didn't need to. He had his man beat, and at worst, he would have gotten in the air and drawn a PI call.

 

Oh, it was a legitimate call. Just one which could very well have cost the conference millions of dollars and priceless exposure.

 

I saw the UConn non-fair-catch bullshit punt return. Can they not review that? Because that was terrible.

Kellen Lewis, by the way, didn't get a serious sniff from any of the Florida colleges. How someone let him get from Jacksonville to Indiana is beyond me.
