Or, as the late, great Bob Bradley (former Clemson SID) used to put it, "Those miserable chickens."

Tennessee's up on the Fighting PaulBears, 14-10.

  3. Pardon me, but isn't the proper citation, "The bowl-bound Vanderbilt Commodores"?

I didn't think I'd ever write this sentence ... but.

Anthony Morelli has been sublime in the second quarter in Bloomington.

It makes sense he'd play better on the road, given how the Happy Valley fans abuse him beyond endurance.

And yet, that hasn't been his track record. PSU hasn't won a tight road game since Northwestern two years ago.

I'm going to lob this pitch over the plate and then back away:

Alabama offensive linemen Antoine Caldwell and Marlon Davis, defensive backs Marquis Johnson and Chris Rogers, as well as running back Glen Coffee were suspended for Saturday's game for a violation of institutional policy involving impermissible receipt of textbooks.

Iowa State goes for it on 4th and 4 and convert. 1st and 10 from OU22. This could get interesting. I'm liking that I'm in the burbs of Chicago and getting both Big 12 games. Thank you Vs. (did I just say that?)

ISU 36-yard field goes way wide right. Still ISU 7, OU 0 with about 4 min left in half

School With Players Who Dared to Receive Textbooks 17,
    Tennessee 14

    Early second quarter.

  11. It's against school rules for Alabama players to receive textbooks?
    Explains a lot.
