I just had one of these moments of near road rage, and had forgotten how quickly my brain runs to "you stupid fuck!"

 

It sounds like you don't want a slur. You are seeking an expletive that is not a slur.
Seems like it, anyway.

I use 'jackass.'

 

Jerkoff is a good one.

 

I've found that "moron," which many would consider a mild word, tends to placate my rage, at least for a few minutes. Of course, I usually have to put "fucking" in front of it.

Cocksucker is the best word. Still seems like it can be used without the homosexual connotation to it.

Sucking cock does not make one gay. Look at Bob Saget.

But really, cocksucker is the ol' tried and true slur of slurs.
