Had to laugh at the self-censorship by the Post.

Gary Miller should keep his yap shut. He was the guy busted for whizzing out a second-story window of a bar in the Flats in Cleveland.

Finally got around to reading the excerpt. After reading This line: "Walsh: One thing most people don't know: In a ratings sense, the eleven o'clock SportsCenter's highest-rated year was when Dan Patrick and Bob Ley were hosting—not Dan Patrick and Keith Olbermann." did KO respond with Seifert or Switzer?

It's such a shame. I was a huge fan - his SCs were as good as anything on TV. My roommate preferred Kilborne, but to me there was no equal to Olberman. Then he became a cartoon, ,and it wasn't nearly as entertaining.

Honest question: Do people really care enough about a bunch of boring industry inside baseball for Deadspin to be turning into basically The Hill for ESPN the last couple weeks?

    Enough already.

Same here. Just getting through the section on the launch. I read Freeman's book, and there's really nothing wildly new so far.

One of the authors was on Dan Patrick's show this morning and there was some good stuff.

    I guess so.

I can't think of a less interesting way to spend my valuable, limited reading time.

    To each his own.

Less time posting inanity on a message board = more valuable reading time.

Nothing wrong with that. I pre-ordered it, along with their oral history on SNL. Very interested to read this.
