I don’t think the lists should be posted

I don't care that much one way or the other, but to whatever extent there's a competitive advantage in knowing the lists, one of us has it and the others don't. Releasing them evens the playing fields. Again, I was the one who brought it up and I don't really care, so we can let it go.

Guy, I absolutely get your point. I am trying to be as transparent as possible, and I guess it does give me some small advantage. If it makes you feel any better, apparently, even being commish couldn't save me last season. :)

Yeah, that’s fair, Guy. I got my two guys, so I suppose I don’t care either. I’m convinced it’s OK to post the lists.

    I don’t care either way.

Thanks to a quirk of how the days off fell, I have one offensive player today. My opponent has a full lineup. Ouch.

That would be me. I wouldn't worry too much. Historically, when my teams face this sort of situation, they'll go 4-for-43 today or something like that.

Yeah, I knew it was your guys and it certainly doesn't guarantee anything. It just looks comical.

I'm far more worried about Acuna's health than I am about today's little mismatch.

Yep, I had a full lineup last night and they gave me zero home runs and one RBI. Sheesh.

Woodruff beating Musgrove head-to-head helps you, though.

So I picked up Benintendi because every guy with speed on my team has stopped running and I came into today's game losing steals, 1-0. He didn't get me a steal today, but he did hit two home runs. Gotta love baseball.

I just posted this on the league site, too.

I had one owner ask the question, but I thought I should remind everyone.

If a player is cut and someone else picks them up, the cost to keep them in 2022 is still based on where they were taken in the 2021 draft.

For example, I took Liam Hendricks in the fourth round this year. He would cost a second-round pick to keep in 2022. If I cut him and someone else picked him up, he would still cost a second-round pick in 2022.

To offer another example, Trey Mancini was cut earlier this season. I picked him up as a free agent. He would cost me a 17th-round pick to keep in 2022 because he was selected in the 19th round this season.
