I will start with the second question. In the past, owners were able to assign the rounds, so the same should apply here.

Regarding the first question, drafted players should be counted first, so you are correct. The player drafted in round 22 would cost a 20, then the undrafted player would cost a 19, and so forth.

God, I hate to be that guy but I will now be traveling the week of March 20. I might be able to attend the live draft and if not it'll be up to the fantasy Gods.

Sorry about that. I'm not sure we have much of a choice, but given the positive response so far, I think that date and time works for the rest of the league.

By the way, this is probably a good time for a reminder that our draft is currently set for March 23 at 8:15 p.m. EST. Keepers are due exactly two weeks earlier, on March 9 at 8:15 p.m. EST.

No worries, I know we all agreed on it. I will do my best to be there live.

I know. Still sucks if you get stuck with autodraft.

I was thinking of this more likely as a change for 2024 rather than this year, but what would you all think of replacing saves with saves+holds?

One of my other leagues uses saves+ holds and I do like it better. We end up pursuing the best relievers instead of just whoever might get a save. It also cuts down on some of the streaming because people have more relievers on their rosters. The downside is that most rankings you can find online don't figure in holds, so it might require a little more research. It also reduces the value of elite closers because there are more relievers who can match them in saves+holds.

    Thoughts?

I'd be for it immediately, if I'm being honest.

I get that. I really do prefer it. I just don't love making a change this close to a keeper deadline, at least not without hearing from everybody, especially guys who have elite closers as potential keepers.

I say let’s wait a year and give everyone a chance to be able to target those type of relievers as potential keepers.

I'd be down with this, another league I am in does it too. 2024 sounds like a good target to me too.

I'm ambivalent, but OK. I think the better move would be to shift to net saves & steals instead of raw numbers. They're not mutually exclusive.
