I think I still need a list from you. Remember, the deadline is Thursday at 8 p.m.

Fields of Dreams is the only other owner who hasn't sent me a tentative list yet. I'll bug him offline.

Thank you, kind sir. I spoke with the owner of Fields of Dreams this morning, so I should have that one tonight. I won't start putting them into the draft until after the deadline, but it is good to at least have a fallback for everyone.

Thanks. Just got a tentative list from Fields of Dreams. I hope to set the draft order and update the keepers Thursday night after the deadline. If not, it will be done by Monday night with the draft a week from Thursday. :)

Revised list for my team, and knowing me, it probably won't be the last.

    Fernando Tatis 1
    Ha-Seong Kim 24

Was this a joke or are we allowed to make trades?

It was a joke, but it is probably something we should address. I think we should be allowed to start making trades again as soon as the previous season ends. Some may disagree because they don't want to have to pay attention for possible trades to review all offseason. At the very least, we should be allowed to make trades for a month or so before the roster deadline.

It is probably something to look at for next season, just like the draft order. I wish I could make a trade now. I've got nine guys I really like for six spots.

Same. And last year, I had trouble finding 6.

Looks like we both made similar course corrections.

    Rule Proposals:

    1. Trading will open at the end of the MLB regular season and remain open until the day of cuts. This would be effective for the 2025 season.

    2. The first 10 selections in the draft will reflect the final records of the team. The team with worst record will be first followed by the team with the second-worst record and so forth. The runner-up will pick 11th and the defending champion will pick last. This would take effect for the 2025 season.

    3. The first 10 selections in the draft will reflect the standings as of the end of our regular season. The team with worst record will be first followed by the team with the second-worst record and so forth. The runner-up will pick 11th and the defending champion will pick last. This would take effect for the 2025 season.

Of course, we could only choose option two or option three. I'm just putting these up for discussion now. If there is interest, I can post them as polls on the league site after the draft.

    Thoughts?
