  1. I am, indeed, shocked.
I would not be shocked to discover, later, that he missed the media interview today w/a interview in Miami.

Less than 24 hours from game time. The clock can't move fast enough.

did anyone ever see/hear/figure out why CBS didnt send its studio team to San Antonio?

That may have been one of the worst decisions of the year.

Studio crew looked uninspired, the production sucked...bad move by the Eye.

Y'all are a bunch of tools. Kansas and Memphis recruit the same players. The coaches even said so themselves today. Yet Memphis is cheating and Kansas is on the up and up?

  6. Well, perhaps just the up.
But Memphis, having hired a coach that never drew a breath in which he wasn't spitting on the rulebook, and having an institutional history that includes one of the great corruption flameouts of all time, draws a little more suspicion, yes.

All Illinois could do was shoot threes, and it was tied, that late. Once the clock starts, Williams is worthless.

USA Today's going to make them send the trophy back? There's no title to vacate. The NCAA doesn't award a championship in I-A football.

Same shit has been said about Self over and over and over here.
Listen, they are all good coaches.
Everyone can't win enough to satisfy the jaded media.
Heck, had that tip-in not gone down for Tennessee last nite we'd be hearing the beginnings of the Pat Summit's girls is "full of fail" theory.
Great players - one's who understand the game in a cerebral sense and are "athletic" are what make good coaches.

If Memphis wins tonight, I take home my pool.
    Awesome!

Anyway, Coach Cal cheats, about like every other coach in college basketball. It would be nice to think that the coaches were saints among us, but that just isn't the case.
As far as recruiting goes, he's lost some players, if that means anything and as far as luring players out of Chicago or some other major market, so.
Memphis plays in an NBA facility, on national TV and they win a ton of games. Isn't that what recruits want?
