    It's all good, if you can respect that for someone else, that tape recorder thread may be the thing they are here for.

    I understand what you are saying. And I enjoy that about this site, too. But some people also need to understand that there is a finer line than they realize between having that contentious (and fun for them) give and take. ... and seeming like they are trying to bait people or get under their skin. It's sometimes not that easy to see it when you are involved. Hopefully that is when the moderators (as third parties) do a good job of getting someone to step away, and that that person respects that there is a reason a moderator is asking them to chill.

    Agree but threads like the "Tape Recorder" or information of value threads is not what sustained the board for so long.

    The Today's birthdays box on the members page is pretty cool.

    If this is accurate we have quite a few daddy's little tax deductions born today--Paper Doll, Expendable, mb, Simon and fishhack to name a few of the more prominent handles.

    Upon further review, never mind. Looks like the system default birthdate is 12/31/1900.

    Or perhaps I'm posting with a bunch of 114 year olds...

    Thanks for the well-wishes, CK. I'll have to correct it. I was born a little over a week early, and avoided the tax deduction drama. Probably the last time I was ever early for anything.

    It's not a rule, of course...but the new layout is terrible; the blatant attempt to drive clicks by limiting posts to 12 per page spits in the face of regular users.
