  1. I disagree. I thought she had every right to swing back and that she did so quite effectively. "This is the change I've already wrought" is such a good counterpunch that it's understandable why that git Mark Penn didn't think of it until too late.

On the other hand, I find the first item in this column sad beyond words, and the people referred to in it chock-full of fail.

What are the odds it ends up a brokered convention on either side?

I honestly have no idea. If Hillary is second in NH, wins Nevada but is second in South Carolina and then she and Obama split the Super Tuesday states in close votes, I guess I could see it, or something like it.

All bets are off on the GOP side. There's just no candidate people like. Who the hell knows?

  4. Neither party establishment wants a brokered convention. Spontaneous politics on live TV? My dear young man, it simply is not done. (Imagine the fun a groups of say, 100 renegade Ron Paul delegates could have.) Some deal will get rigged and, if the earth cracks, we might get two ballots.
And I post this with a warning to zeke that erections lasting more than four hours should be reported to his doctor.

I'm loving it, Fenian, though I thank you for the disclaimer.

If the numbers keep moving in NH, I might need the number of a good physician.

Romney looks horrendous last night. Who the hell could vote for the guy...his own party can't stand him, hell his own state hates him. Such a fraud and looked very uncomfortable after taking countless verbal shots throughout the debate last night. Still, inexplicably, he's going to be close to winning NH.

After last night, I fully expect Obama to take NH. Even Edwards was very anti-Hillary which is not going to help her considering Edwards is well-liked in the state.

Thanks Ben. Appreciate your view. Disagree with it, but still appreciate it.

Again ... are we talking the same issue? Is it pro-choice and anti-abortion or pro-abortion and anti-abortion. Seriously now get with it.
