Hillary better hope her NH organizers are better than her Iowa folks.

Romney better hope that Huckabee at least peels a few votes off McCain.

I think Huckabee will peel them off Romney rather than McCain.

    You might be right.

There is a reckoning coming to the GOP that will not be pretty.

I'd be a bald-faced liar if I said I wasn't going to enjoy watching it.

Here are my predictions for N.H.:

-- Obama wins by about four points, Hillary finishes second, Edwards is tight on her heels.
-- McCain wins the GOP race, thanks to endorsements from the Manchester paper and the anti-Romney Concord Monitor editorial. Romney finishes third, behind Huckabee.

I'll be ready to eat crow if I am full of fail.

There is a serious anti-Southern prejudice in this neck of the woods (some board members have noticed this) and I think that will hold Huckabee down in NH.

Doesn't hold true as much in the far northern reaches of New Hampshire.

I made my comment more on the negative reaction I'm seeing with Romney than movement toward Huckabee.

"You want to eat at the party's big kids' table, Huck?

    "In your dreams!"

    Imagine the eventual consternation.

    Rich. VERY rich.

I think Flip Romney is about 20 minutes away from asking his people if he can run in the Democratic primary against Hillary and Obama. He's about as electable as a bag of flour and half as interesting.

There was a quotation from a Reverend who caucused GOP for Fred Thompson last night, and he essentially said, "Hey, there aren't any good candidates, so I picked this guy."

Just a bad slate of candidates for the GOP.
