I actually think it's a terrible idea. Puts WAY too much of a premium on money.

I'm not an ends justify the means guy, but take this election as your prime example.

If we had a national primary, the candidates would almost certainly be Hillary and Rudy.

The system surely isn't perfect the way it is now. But I'd be very hesitant to go to a national primary.

 

Why would the candidates be Rudy and Hillary? I'm curious why you think that.
