And he would've won, if it weren't for my corrupt Hibernian cousins in Chi-town! :D

Exactly. HRC's team using the strategy isn't even accurate like it was for Bill. Yet like jagtrader points out the 24-hour news cycle makes for a short national attention span.

Edwards really came across like an asshole over the last few days, I like the message and I believe his heart in the right place....but he's a pain in the ass.

OK, after Iowa, Obama was gonna be the next president and Hillary was on the verge of a historic collapse. Now if Hillary pulls this out, what will the genius political pundits tell us now? All the giddiness over Obama last week was way too premature, as will be the inevitable "Hillary's back; can she be stopped?" crap we'll be fed until the next primary. I hate the 24-hour news cycle.

As tonight's results will create confusion and uncertainty, I'm pleased.

Something we can all agree upon, liberal or conservative.

I don't think Hill duped the media. I think the lead-up polls were accurate with Obama leading; people changed their minds on the final day (for some reason — maybe the waterworks, well, worked). This result will be studied for quite some time.

Must get it out of the way ... how much does race factor in here? I say little, but someone's gonna ask sooner or later.

The 24-hour news cycle indeed tongues wilderbeast scrotum. And I feel this way regardless of whether it's benefitting people or causes I like. I'm listening to an NPR analyst talk about how Hilary's near-teary moment helped her win NH. Burp.

I'm still waiting for one of these pundits to say "I don't know" or "It depends." They're all so fucking sure of everything, even things that are impossible to be sure about. We're talking about a process with vagaries. I guess that makes bad TV.
