Carter's a pussy! Reagan tells funny jokes! Dukakis is too swarthy! Clinton plays sax! W is down-home! Kerry lied about his medals! Dean said "YAAAH!" Clinton's nice 'cause she cried! The epitaph of our democracy will be written by those whose breath smells like paste.

No shit, I wouldn't be surprised if the Clintons sent him a card. He needs to run far away, even the 15% of the people who like him, only like him for his wife.

Well, I wonder if HRC's speech will be any better in their eyes.

Look, Obama did fine. But it's time for America to stop being charmed and talk about who's going to get things done. It's going to take a very, very strong person to undo the eight years Bush just fucked up. Instead, all you get in this campaign coverage is analysis of delivery instead of ideas. It was like that in 2000 with Gore because he sighed, or in 2004 with Dean because he screamed. Give me a fucking break. Let's be grownups.

    Nice sentiment. Not happening, however.

Christ, even in victory she's plastic. And now playing herself as the comebacking underdog.

Which is exactly why her staff was downplaying expectations heading into today. And Edwards and the media played right into her hands. Hopefully they learn their lesson.

Can't speak for Edwards, but that's not something we in the media do very well.
