Like it or not, Obama has redefined the race -- on both sides -- by actively engaging voters who had been ignored. Finally, somebody could do it. "Something's happening" -- I believe it. I do believe people for once are thinking their vote really counts, matters, and is being sought. Of course, it helps to have eight years of Rovian divide-and-conquer, just-get-the-base politics to warm him up.

And why are the polls so wrong? How about cellphones? If, say, my 20-year-old nephew is voting, no one is going to catch him on a land line, because he does without. It's Alf Landon all over again.

Is Hillary wearing some sort of camoflague pattern there?

And Hillary sounds shocked that people want the campaign to be about them, rather than the career aspirations of the person running. Sheesh.

Edit: And if this starts sounding any more like an Oscar speech than it already does, we're going to hear the get-off-the-stage music cue up.

I shall eat lots of crow for my predictions. They were so amazingly off-base, it's embarrassing.

I'll take anything of substance from Obama any day. Anything. I've been waiting for it, but all I hear are fiery words and not much else.

Like WI said, Americans are snowed by style over substance, so he may be elected president without ever saying anything of substance.

My wife and I couldn't believe it when we heard that. She said, "He must be sponsored by Chevy."

I've got news for you - Obama, if he gets nominated, isn't going to have an easy time getting elected either.

Is it too late for Al Gore to throw his hat into the mix? If it isn't, would the Dems have the guts or stupidity (depending on your POV) to try and get him to join in and save them?

I'm waiting for the Hilary campaign to accidentally play Last Dance with Mary Jane instead of American Girl.

None of the four candidates I can tolerate won today. That doesn't bode well. Who would be Hillary's running mate? I can't see Edwards in there, but I can visualize the two of them going at it in the Oval Office. It's a visual I don't want to have. But it's sort of stuck in my head. By the way, do you think Kucinich talks nasty to his woman when they're bumping uglies? I just can't imagine that. But I know I'd feel obligated to do that and so much more if I were with her.
