What did they do wrong? What was illegal about it? Ken Starr spent tens of millions of dollars on a witch hunt trying to find any shred of evidence that they'd done something wrong and illegal at Whitewater and he COULDN'T FIND ANY PROOF!!!!!!!

Unless they want to claim residency in separate states, Bill Clinton can't be vice-president. That's why Cheney had to "move" back to Wyoming before becoming Bush's running mate. The president and vice-president cannont come from the same state.
And Clinton said himself he wouldn't do it.
I figure its going to be offered to Richardson in exchange for his, now apparently critical, 6 percent of the Dem vote.

That just proves that hush money and having friends who are willing to take bullets for you are wonderful things.....

The worst thing you could say about the Clintons in the Whitewater deal is that they invested in a small-time real estate development with a guy who turned out to be crooked. Seriously, get a clue and let it go. By that standard, Obama should be disqualified because he snorted cocaine.

Well I find it funny we think Barry Bonds is guilty for juicing when those around him with BALCO are busted, but when it happens to the Clintons it's OK. I'm not accusing you SC, I just find that funny.

And ther's plenty of hard evidence pointing toward Barry Bonds using drugs. Not so much with the Clintons and whitewater. Go educate yourself, and quite buying shit that's spoonfed to you.

There is circumstantial evidence of a physical nature -- very convincing circumstantial evidence -- that Barry's been 'roiding.

Can you name any similar evidence existing in Whitewater?

    No, you can't.

Isn't it time to check in on the witches?

There is plenty of CIRCUMSTANSIAL evidence against Bonds and very little, if any, HARD evidence. And hard is a perfect choice of words when discussing the Clinton's and Whitewater since it was Slick Willy's hard one that, in part, bought the silence of a certain woman who did some time while covering for her pals...

To me, the telling evidence is the last line of the 12th Amendment.

That seems pretty clear, although there is apparently still debate.

I believe you are correct that in order to be VP you must meet the criteria to be president. Having already served two terms, Bill is not eligible to be president again, therefore he cannot be VP.

And I'm OK with that. I wouldn't want him in any other role than First Lady. :D
