Oh for God's sake. And next time, when Obama wins will you be the one to ask how sexism factors in? We really are going to have to sit through this nonsense all year.

Last I checked, Ken Lay is NOT Ken Starr.

Ken Lay will raise a mojito in Rio at that news, I'm certain.

    A few observations :

    - It hurt Obama that Oprah was not on location in New Hamphire. That would have off set the Hillary tears vote.

    - This is turning into a bitter primary. If Obama loses, his supporters will have a tough time supporting Hillary. Might further open the door for Bloomberg.

    - First Chevrolet and now John Edwards. If " This is My County " as a viable song was not done in by Chevy commercials, last night Edwards team completed the job.

It's going to be interesting whatever happens with the Dems, I agree Boom. If Hill wins, I think enthusiasm for her campaign will be tepid at best. She's about as inspiring and interesting as a turnip. A lot of young voters who Obama energized might say "Screw it. Can't ever challenge the status quo in this country" and stay home. Will Obama be the good soldier and campaign for Hillary and throw some of his energy and support behind her? Especially since you know between now and Super Tuesday the Clintons will do anything and everything to cut his hamstrings?

If Obama wins, will the Clintons get in line and support the party? Or will they pout like pechulant little children who didn't get their way? After Bill's finger-wagging fit post-Iowa, I'm not so sure he could handle a Hillary loss with grace. I think he now sees this as part of his legacy too. Plus, will Obama's staffers keep whispering nasty things like "When is someone going to look into the Clintons' marriage?" to magazine reporters? Clinton, for all his flaws, knows how to win elections. I'd sure as hell want him on my side if I were Obama and I won the nomination.

Best I can tell from trying to sort through the numbers...

Edwards didn't hold his position. Women jumped from him to Hillary by about five points.

As to the rest, well, you make the call. Bradley effect or no?

The pollsters are doing a hell of a job, aren't they?

Pretty soon they'll have the believability of the weatherman.

    Some observations.
Ya'll realize that the Clintons lost money on Whitewater, right? They did, they were swindled out of it by a corrupt banker.
Funny how life swings, Hillary went from dropping out to getting the nomination in about 24 hours
As already noted, unless Obama gets the VP slot, his supporters won't be for Hillary.
Good to have The A Daily Show back. He rolled the footage of Hillary "crying." It was the first time I had seen the whole thing and his reaction was much like mine, this appears to be much about nothing.
Bill Kristol* is a smug son of a bitch. That dude needs to get punched in the face and like yesterday.
    * Fox News was on at the gym last night, it was entertaining. Not so much news as pundits giving their take. Kristol, who has the accuracy rate of a local TV weatherman, was spewing forth. He just needs to go away.

No kidding. That speech was a dud. Although the content was OK, she's just not a great speaker. She has no energy and she's too methodical. I keep thinking to myself, 'Spit it out already!'

As for Obama, his speech was terrific. Did it lack substance? Sure. But you know what? Election night speeches during the primary season aren't about substance. They're about motivating the electorate. He understands that better than anyone.

    I wondered about that too.

I think Huckabee will do well on Super Tuesday. He'll win several states that day.

Obama gets the service union and the culinary workers union in Nevada today.

    Game on.

From the Democrats I talked to yesterday, that's their biggest concern with Obama. He's certainly more charismatic and inspiring, but they don't find he says anything concrete or with real substance, and combined with his relative inexperience they would rather go with the safer choice in Clinton.

Of course many Hillary votes are cast for Bill rather than her. Bill's beloved in New Hampshire.
