    Two unapologetic Iraq war hawks.

    Yeah, good luck with that.

Please, GOP, please: Keep telling voters that we need to devote more money, more bodies, and more time to this clusterfuck.

I'd like to hear more about how a well-entrenched member of the ruling elite who merrily supported an obviously unconscionable war that has been the greatest foreign policy disaster in decades is the candidate of "change."

Obama for America Daily Talking Points

    January 9, 2008

    * Barack Obama has a huge head start in the February 5 th states, with hundreds of endorsements, tens of thousands of volunteers, and hundreds of thousands of supporters. Nationally, Obama has more than thirty offices in nineteen of the twenty-two February 5th states. Six of these states are holding caucuses, and caucuses test a campaign's organization and the enthusiasm of its supporters in a way primaries do not...

The momentum Obama has after winning Iowa and doing so well in New Hampshire will help him clinch the nomination on February 5th.

"Change is just a word if you don't have the strength and experience to actually make it happen."

Barring that, cry on television. Turn your tears into an attack on your opponent.

Make sure to drop mailers lying about his positions on women's issues, while you're at it.

    But, mostly, cry.

Did I miss something? Why is Point of Order being an insufferable prick on something that doesn't involve women's basketball and false applications of the First Amendment?

Too bad W can't run again. After all, he has eight years experience as President. Clearly, his experience makes him the best candidate. Experience is much more important than, oh, policy.

Don't look now, but your New Hampshire winner voted for the war, and your party has failed to deal with the problem for more than a year.

Here is the Dowd column Boom was referencing a page ago. Not quite sure what to think of it. But I did like the second-to-last paragraph:

An interesting take. The guy who runs this blog is an ex-Republican:

Hard to crack the cipher. Your words turning to pablum. Why?

I've always been respectful to Democratic candidates, even when critical.

I want a Dem to win. And not just to win, but be a good prez.
