    Actually, the site settings from the previous owner are:
    1) Users can't delete posts.
    2) Users can't edit posts.

    I changed it to 5 minutes to edit your posts, so we're actually rolling with a more permissive policy now...

    All I ask for is the ability to turn off notifications for a thread we've posted in in the past. Sometimes I'll comment on a topic (The music thread) and then nine months go by and I still get notifications that there's a new comment and I never intend on visiting that topic ever again.
    I used to be able to delete posts and that would turn off the notifications but now even that's not an option.
    Otherwise, no complaints.

    Ugh, that's gotta be annoying. Switching forum software to Xenforo will fix that--you can "unfollow" a thread without having to delete your post.

    I'm hoping to migrate the site by the end of the week, we'll see.

    Definitely annoying. Nothing like getting constant links to the running RISK or Battlestar Galactica or Pro Wrestling threads just because you tried to be a smartass ONE time. :)

    Jeff, I've regularly edited posts days and sometimes even months later. I have no idea what you're looking at, but the editing has never not been an option.
