    I think he played about 1/3 of that setlist at UVa's memorial Gym in Nov. 1974, the last time I saw him, when they were recording BTR, which he said at that time would be called "Jungleland."

    I wrote on the Last Concerts thread about going to see Gaslight in NYC last month, and not only how good they sounded, including Brian Fallon's vocals, but how much goddam fun they were having, especially Brian. Of course he's going to be happy with Bruce up there for "History Books" and "American Slang," at Sea Hear Now, but I love seeing Brian that happy while playing these songs again.

    Rewatching the Western Stars live performance/Zimny piece on YouTube. I really love this album and feel like this it is his best work since "Magic". Really beautiful and heartfelt. "Western Stars" by itself is his best song since "Girls in their Summer Clothes".

    I might not go that far, but “hell, these days there ain't no more, now there's just again” is one of my favorite lyrics.
