One of the most agonizing "over" chases ever.

Well, that should just about do it, if you know what I mean.

Steelers inactives for game at Patriots

Inactive lists for the AFC Chamionship. I'm a little surprised to see the Steelers leaving DeMarcus Ayers inactive for this one. The rookie had played well. Of course, Ladarius Green is still out with a concussion.

The Patriots supposedly had some banged-up receivers, but Mitchell and Hogan are active, as is Bennett. Malcolm Floyd is inactive.

Highest-scoring NFC title game since 1995-96: Cowboys 38, Packers 27

Highest was the year before: 49ers 38, Cowboys 28

Highest scoring in AFC: Dolphins 45, Steelers 28 in 1984-85, followed by Colts 38, Patriots 34 in 2006-07 and Broncos 38, Browns 33 (The Fumble) in 1987-88.

Quinn is coaching a team that looks a lot like the Seattle teams he was DC of, especially in terms of the defense.

    No. You are welcome.

Terrible tackling on the second play of the game. The Steelers are screwed if they defend like this tonight. It took a drop by Mitchell for Pittsburgh to hold New England to a field goal.

Third-and-1 and ... you throw deep? To quote Shea in Irving: RUN THE DAMN BALL.
