Why would the Steelers think Sammie Coates would suddenly start making plays again after months of being useless?

The play was there, but trusting Coates was an awful idea. Put that one on Roethlisberger. Looked like an audible.

I blame Coates for Ben's overthrow.

Watch a replay. Coates stopped just before the ball arrived. If he simply keeps running, the ball hits him in stride. It was an excellent throw. Roethlisberger's mistake was calling an audible to throw it to Coates, who has been completely useless as a receiver since very early in the season.

This is going to be over early. The Patriots are dominating up front and the Steelers have already blown the coverage a few times.

I don't just mean dominating on offense, though the Steelers got no pressure on Brady on that drive. Bell hasn't had a lot of room to run and they have gotten quick pressure on Roethlisberger just about every pass attempt.

Two games, two blowouts. Two road wins in 10 playoff games. One fabulous game, seven or eight forgettables.

Now Bell is apparently hurt. Of course, the sideline reporter gave us something on Brown's video from last week rather than information about why Pittsburgh's best player is out of the game.

Hoe was the Steelers' tackling on the eighth play?

    Nice drive for Williams.

Hell of a job by Williams on that drive, then Boswell misses an extra point? WTF?
