    If there was ever a prime opportunity for a sequel to Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - this is it. Is Michael Irvin allowed in? How many "pros" are making the trek to satisfy the corporate types, the casino whales and desperate local sports yakkers on radio row? How many current and former players are going to be cashing in on various appearance fees at special events, golf outings etc and radio row shilling opportunities? I can smell the desperation from here.

    Wasn't the Raiders-Bucs Super Bowl moved to San Diego from another location for some reason?
    PS: Just looked it up. Was supposed to be a San Francisco Super Bowl, but the 49ers couldn't get a new stadium deal.

    Fun fact: my next-door neighbor is an absolute ringer for Eddie Money. And female, which makes it even better. And she's kind of a piece of work, so the dialogue between my wife and me is often something like "Eddie Money is on our side of the fence again, pulling weeds." "Has she asked you to 'gimme some water'?"
