I don't disbelieve Tom Brady, I don't believe him. Is there a higher profile athlete that is a bigger cipher? I have no idea what he really thinks, what he is really passionate about. Great quarterback, but writers have been trying to crack that egg for his entire career and yet to make an omelet.

The booth director deserves a ton of credit for this, the way the shot started tight on Keenum and slowly zoomed out to show the background.

That was a great moment in sports TV.

So if the Jaguars win tomorrow, which they will not, I hope some paper runs the headline "Curse of the Quarterback's Paw"

Will be curious to see the TV ratings of the Patriots and the Jags. I suspect it will be down and conservative hero/SEC superfan Clay Travis will tell us that it's the result of mounting public opposition to those damned social justice warriors. In fact, however, it's likely because nobody -- even in Jacksonville -- cares about the Jaguars.

Early game always has lower ratings, but it's possible the overhyped Brady hand issue could goose ratings a mite. Also, at the start fans will tune in on the chance of an upset. If the Pats get up early, ratings will take a corresponding drive.

    They are brothers, though.

I used to read them with the Oldest. Some of them were pretty good, others were quite cheesy. But what used to always kill us was how, after the bad guys were captured, that they would just tell the kids what they were planning and how they were going to get away. I'm like, "Dude, shut up and tell them you want a lawyer."

I find it refreshing, he plays the game great, he doesn’t add drama, doesn’t preach, doesnt try and impose himself on the marketplace or culture. Aside from the bed commerical I don’t recall his endorsements.
I have no idea If he’s shallow, thoughtful, Well read, boring, dense or just a guy who works out, eats healthy and plays football. And frankly, I’m not interested.

To be fair, the bad guys got all flummoxed when one of them starting speaking in a weird accent and yelling "Delete!" while the other dove off of high ladders onto card tables.
