    Carpe Diem. You never know what next season, or the next several, will bring.

    I still have nightmares about the 2002 Saints. 9-4, swept the eventual Super Bowl Champs then fell flat on their face because Haislett wouldn't put Delhomme in for a clearly injured Aaron Brooks.

    I think Payton and Loomis have a great foundation in place, and these guys should be around for awhile...but you never really know.

    He does, Sam. I don't think they'd have given him that number if they didn't think he would. He's been a stand-up guy since coming to N.O.

    What's with all the first-play-from-scrimmage TDs?

    Pretty effective way to neutralize the crowd.

    Anyone who doesn't think it can change quickly should ask Mike Sherman. A wild card berth in 2001, division championships in 2002, '03 and '04. Then a 4-12 in 2005 and he's fired.
